A really important aspect of design is how it is a personal expression of self. Although the most people can recognize good design, the best part is when it becomes a reflection of the personality and needs of the client. It’s about looking at a good fit between the designers vision as an extension of the client’s personality. It’s not suprising that the personality, expertise and inclination of the Designer need to be complimentary to the client. This is where knowing your Designer becomes a needed first step.

So who would be designing for you? It’s good that you ask! I will be honest…I haven’t followed the usual route as far as learning “Design”. I have no official design degree ( a B.S. in Chemistry). However, I have been blessed with an excellent artistic and creative sense that has given me the ability to visualize scale, color, balance and overall view of everything from small projects to room remodels. I have creative ideas and great style to make a space evolve. I am constantly taking in visual ideas from a multitude of sources that help me form a vision for design.
